Williams is set to use the Grand Prix of Monaco as a platform to introduce a special livery. During the race weekend in Monte Carlo, an ‘icon’ will be featured on the FW46, making its debut in Formula 1. While McLaren opts for a unique Senna livery, Williams will be racing with the pink Duracell bunny on the air intake. Variety is the spice of life.
“An icon is making its debut in Formula 1 this weekend,” the team announced in an official press release. Williams will be using a special livery during the GP of Monaco, where the pink Duracell bunny will take a prominent place on the air intake. Apart from this, the FW46 seems to have undergone little change, with the blue-black color scheme already familiar from past races.
Williams Racing Welcomes Duracell Bunny to Formula 1
“Williams Racing is delighted to introduce the Duracell bunny to Formula 1,” says Commercial Director James Bower. “With this livery, we unite an iconic symbol with an iconic circuit.” Battery manufacturer Duracell has been a significant sponsor for the team from Grove, England, since 2022. Their recognizable black-bronze product has been represented on the cars for some time, through a strong piece of guerrilla marketing. In Monaco, the pink bunny will be added.
