Williams is reportedly set to announce a new title sponsor for the 2025 season. The team is said to be partnering with Atlassian, an Australian tech company with a billion-dollar turnover. This new title sponsorship could provide a significant boost for the British racing stable’s future. With top drivers Alexander Albon and Carlos Sainz Jr, Williams hopes to achieve substantial long-term growth.

Business platform SportBusiness reported on Thursday that Williams is on the verge of signing a deal with Atlassian. The company is expected to become the new title sponsor of the historic Formula 1 team. Atlassian would be the latest major sponsor to partner with Williams. With the arrival of Carlos Sainz Jr, the team also secured a deal with Santander, a large Spanish bank and a traditional major sponsor in Formula 1.

Carlos Sainz Jr’s promise is said to be attracting many companies to Williams. The Spanish star won two Grand Prix with Ferrari in 2024, but had to make way for Lewis Hamilton. Sainz has committed to Williams for the long term, hoping that the British will once again become a competitive team in the future. So far, Sainz has only driven a few test rounds in old cars, but according to team boss James Vowles, the collaboration is already paying off. The British racing team’s new car, the FW47, will be unveiled on February 14th during a dedicated launch event.
