While Max Verstappen and his colleagues are still enjoying a well-deserved summer break, the Dutch GP in Zandvoort is rapidly approaching. The Formula 1 season’s second half kicks off with the Dutch Grand Prix on the last weekend of August. Broadcast rights holder Viaplay is offering race fans the opportunity to follow all the excitement of the Dutch GP for free.
From August 25, Viaplay‘s open TV channel will be entirely dedicated to the Dutch GP for a week. Starting from Friday, when the first free practice sessions are scheduled, the channel will broadcast all the action for free. In addition, presenter Amber Brantsen and pit reporters Chiel van Koldenhoven and Tom Coronel will extensively preview and review each session, with analyses from experts Giedo van der Garde, Christijan Albers, and Ho-Pin Tung.
“The Dutch GP is the absolute highlight of the Dutch sports year, and we are happy to share it with as many enthusiasts as possible,” says Marco Zwaneveld, Head of Sports at Viaplay. “From the first free practice on Friday to the race on Sunday, every Formula 1 session can be watched live and for free throughout the Netherlands via our open TV channel. Around this, we treat viewers to extensive analyses, atmosphere reports, exclusive interviews, and the latest news from the pits, the stands, and right in the paddock.” Viaplay‘s open TV channel can be received on the following channels:
