The first European Formula 1 weekend of the season has arrived. The premier class is setting up camp this week in the Italian region of Emilia-Romagna. To celebrate, Viaplay has decided to allow Dutch viewers to watch all the action for free this weekend via Viaplay TV.
Viaplay TV is the open channel of the streaming giant, and will be broadcasting all the action in Imola live this weekend. The company did the same last year for the Dutch Grand Prix in Zandvoort. This year’s race in Italy promises to be an exciting one, with the heated title battle between McLaren teammates Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris, and current world champion Max Verstappen.
The Dutchman has claimed victory in Italy during the last three editions of the Grand Prix. Last year, he won the race at Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari by less than eight-tenths of a second ahead of Norris. In short, there’s plenty of reason not to miss a moment of the action this year. Viaplay TV can be received by KPN users on channel 51, Ziggo and Odido customers on channel 13, and DELTA users on channel 22. The Grand Prix weekend in Emilia-Romagna starts on Friday afternoon, May 16th.
