From August 29 to 31, the Formula 1 returns to Zandvoort for the Dutch GP. The event’s full program for the race weekend has been announced, featuring performances from Kensington, Afrojack, and Gerard Joling, as well as races from the F1 Academy and the Porsche Supercup. There will be plenty to see and experience in the dunes of Zandvoort, both on and off the Formula 1 track.
On Friday, August 29, the gates open at 06:00 UTC. Fans can enjoy the F1 Academy’s free practice and a Q&A with the Max Verstappen before the first free practice at 10:30 UTC. After the Porsche Supercup’s free practice and a Q&A with the F1 team bosses, the second free practice is scheduled for 14:00 UTC. After the second practice hour for the F1 drivers, fans can enjoy performances from Samuel Welten, Mart Hoogkamer, Gerard Joling, and Kensington in the fan zone from 15:30 UTC.
On Saturday, August 30, there will be another Q&A with the F1 drivers in the morning, before the F1 Academy’s qualification starts at 08:25 UTC. At 09:30 UTC, it’s the Formula 1’s turn for their third and final free practice. After the Porsche Supercup’s qualification and a Q&A with the F1 Academy drivers, the qualification is at 13:00 UTC. The second day of the weekend concludes with the first race of the F1 Academy at 15:05 UTC and performances from Kraantje Pappie and Snelle.
Race Day
On Sunday, August 31, the second race of the F1 Academy starts at 08:40 UTC, followed by the Porsche Supercup race. At 11:00 UTC, it’s time for the Drivers Parade, followed by the opening ceremony and the national anthem performed by opera singer Henk Poort. At 13:00 UTC, the Dutch Grand Prix begins. The day, and thus the entire weekend, concludes with performances from Yves Berendse, Snollebollekes, and Afrojack.
