In a commercial first, Max Verstappen becomes the inaugural active athlete to launch his own online shop in collaboration with the globally renowned merchandise brand, Fanatics. The Dutchman has entered into an exclusive multi-year partnership focusing on a wide range of fan merchandise, including signed and used racing items. A key component of this partnership is a brand-new global Verstappen webshop, set to go live in early 2026.

The collaboration between Verstappen and Fanatics focuses on e-commerce, licensed merchandise, and trading cards, in addition to the racing items mentioned above. Through the new online shop, fans will gain quicker access to official Verstappen merchandise and on-demand items launched around significant racing moments and milestones. Fanatics has been granted the rights to design, produce, and distribute a wide assortment of officially licensed products via Verstappen.com, including clothing, caps, accessories, and special collections.

Verstappen Card

To mark the announcement, Fanatics Collectibles has released a unique collectible item: the Only1 Verstappen card. This card pays tribute to Verstappen’s historic record lap at Monza, the fastest average lap time ever in Formula 1. Incorporated into the card is a piece of the racing suit Verstappen wore that weekend. With only one copy available, it becomes an exceptionally rare collectible.

Verstappen expresses enthusiasm for the collaboration: “It’s fantastic, I’m looking forward to working with the Fanatics teams to create products and experiences that truly fit my career and offer all fans something special to collect and enjoy.”

Verstappen: An Influential Athlete

Fanatics also sees great opportunities. “Max’s global fanbase continues to grow at a remarkable pace. We are proud to contribute to the way his fans can experience that,” says Andrew Low Ah Kee, CEO of Fanatics Commerce. He refers to Verstappen as one of the most influential athletes in the world.

Mike Mahan, CEO of Fanatics Collectibles, adds: “We are incredibly pleased to welcome Max to the Fanatics family. His cards are hugely popular and valued by collectors. With Max, we look forward to developing new, innovative products that will further grow our global F1 success.”
