It’s well known that Max Verstappen enjoys sharing his experiences with young drivers, but it turns out his advice extends beyond track activities, as revealed by his Red Bull teammate Yuki Tsunoda. The Japanese driver discloses that thanks to Verstappen, he has discovered a new favourite drink: gin and tonic.
“I flew with him on his private jet,” Tsunoda shares on the Red Bull podcast. “Max recommended a gin and tonic to me. So I thought: Okay, why not?”
Since then, the Japanese driver has been hooked. “I really love gin and tonic now.”
However, there’s something the two teammates haven’t done together yet. “We’ve never gone out together,” Tsunoda admits. When asked what he imagines a night out with Verstappen would be like, he responds: “Very chaotic. And with gin and tonic, probably.”
