While Max Verstappen and his colleagues had a chance to catch their breath after the Grand Prix of Mexico City last weekend, the Brazilian sprint weekend is rapidly approaching. The Formula 1 season enters its final phase in the second weekend of November with the GP of São Paulo. Now that the championship has turned into a thrilling three-way battle, Viaplay offers Dutch racing fans the opportunity to follow multiple sessions for free.

Viaplay’s open TV channel will be entirely dedicated to the Grand Prix of São Paulo this coming weekend. Starting from Friday, the channel will broadcast the free practice, the sprint qualification, the sprint race, and the regular qualification for free. The main race, which starts at 18:00 Dutch time on Sunday, remains exclusively available to paying Viaplay subscribers.

In addition, under the guidance of presenter Amber Brantsen and pit reporters Chiel van Koldenhoven and Giedo van der Garde, there will be extensive pre- and post-analysis of each session. The analyses are in the hands of experts Tom Coronel and Christijan Albers. The open TV channel of Viaplay can be received via the following channels:

– KPN on channel 51
– Ziggo on channel 13
– Odido on channel 13
– DELTA on channel 22
