The Dutch GP has kicked off! Max Verstappen immediately seized the second position in the field from Lando Norris, while polesitter Oscar Piastri maintained the lead. Here’s a look back at the start of the race.
The Grand Prix at Zandvoort has officially begun! Max Verstappen was able to overtake Lando Norris in the first few meters, although the Brit did not easily relinquish his second position. Meanwhile, Oscar Piastri firmly held onto the lead in the race. There was a moment of suspense for the thousands of Verstappen fans present. The Dutchman briefly threatened to veer into the gravel trap in the opening lap, but managed to keep his RB21 on the tarmac.
