Many experts had already written off the Mexican, especially since he has lost an enormous amount of points in the last few months. Red Bull now has to fear for the constructors’ championship – many fans think that McLaren is being handed the title.
Liam Lawson’s Career Prospects
With the continuation of Pérez, Visa RB drivers Yuki Tsunoda and Daniel Ricciardo see their chances of promotion disappear. The latter would have been the safest option for Red Bull. Reserve driver Liam Lawson, considered by many fans a good replacement for Pérez, also misses out. It is now known that he does not need to knock on Visa RB’s door; the subsidiary team from Faenza wants to finish the year with the current line-up.
