As the Grand Prix weekend in Singapore dawns, the drivers are also on the eve of the first night race since the GP Saudi Arabia. It’s high time for new team clothing, Red Bull must have thought. The Austrian team is bringing a special ‘team kit’ for the racing stable to the night races in Singapore and later in the year in Las Vegas.
The new Red Bull team clothing was created in collaboration with fashion brand Hypebeast and sportswear brand Castore. The Austrians hope to create a collection for the ‘young and energetic Formula 1 audience’ primarily through the contribution of Hypebeast. The new team clothing is not only for the team to wear in the paddock, but can also be purchased online by Red Bull fans. The collection includes a short-sleeved polo shirt and a raincoat, both featuring a ‘digital camouflage pattern’.
‘Energy and Atmosphere of Night Races’
Nick Stocker, Commercial Director at Red Bull, can’t wait to see the team clothing in action for the first time in Singapore. “This project with Castore and Hypebeast has set a new standard for creative brand collaborations,” says Stocker. “Singapore and Las Vegas are unique Grands Prix on the calendar. The design therefore reflects the energy and atmosphere of these night races in the heart of the city. By releasing this collection together with Hypebeast, we can show ourselves in the places that are important to our fans. I look forward to seeing the team appear in Singapore with a fresh new look.”
