Racing Bulls (formerly Visa Cash app RB) has officially partially relocated to the campus of sister team Red Bull, confirms CEO Peter Bayer. The Austrian hopes that the new ‘top-tier’ facilities will make the smaller team a more attractive employer for future talent.
For some time, Racing Bulls had its aerodynamics department in the United Kingdom. However, the Red Bull sister team has now moved this branch to new office buildings on the Red Bull Technology Campus in Milton Keynes. Red Bull hopes to intensify the collaboration between the two teams in this way. The headquarters is still in Faenza, Italy.
“The office in Milton Keynes is ready,” confirms Visa RB CEO Peter Bayer that the British branch has officially moved, to Planet F1. “We had the IT guys set it up there. We have been operational since January 2, so no time is lost on development, model making, the wind tunnel, and everything. So there will be no losses and it’s a ‘game-changer’ because it’s a top-tier facility.”
A More Attractive Employer
Although the CEO is pleased with the new buildings, Bayer does not think it will immediately translate into better performances on the track. “A nice office doesn’t necessarily give you lap time, but it does immediately make us a more attractive employer. We will have a nice canteen in Milton Keynes,” says the Austrian. “And for now, we don’t have a gym, but we do have a contract with a local gym where the guys can go until ours is ready. So it can, and should, actually give us a bit of a boost for 2025.”
