Just a week after the rain-soaked Belgian GP, the next race is already on the schedule: the Hungarian GP. The weekend at the Hungaroring promises to be much warmer than the Grand Prix in the Ardennes, with temperatures nearing thirty degrees Celsius and a significantly smaller chance of rain. Here is the full weather forecast for the Hungarian GP!

Last year, fans in Hungary also had to lather up with sunscreen. The sun shone powerfully on the track near the capital, Budapest. Oscar Piastri won a Grand Prix at the Hungaroring for the first time and, of course, hopes for a repeat of this result in his title fight with teammate Lando Norris this year. Max Verstappen will be hoping for a different outcome than last year’s race. The Dutchman was on track for a podium finish, but a collision with Lewis Hamilton left him no higher than fifth place.

Weather Forecast for the Hungarian GP

In contrast to the Belgian GP, the race weekend in Hungary is not a sprint weekend, and the weekend promises to be generally sunny. On Friday, when the first two free practice sessions are scheduled, it will be ‘mostly sunny’, although there is a less than 20 percent chance of a shower in the afternoon. Temperatures will be around 27 degrees Celsius, so fans should be sure to apply plenty of sunscreen.

Saturday also starts off sunny, with the chance of a shower increasing as the qualification approaches. In the afternoon, there is a 20 percent chance of rain, but temperatures will again be around 27 to 28 degrees Celsius. On Sunday, when the main event is scheduled, the chance of rain has significantly increased to 40 percent, but it promises to be warm again. A temperature of 27 degrees Celsius is forecasted during the race.
