Nyck de Vries concluded the 2024/2025 Formula E season with two second-place finishes at the ePrix in London. The Dutch driver raced to the podium twice on the streets of the British capital, finishing eighth in the Formula E championship. His compatriot, Robin Frijns, ended up in nineteenth place in the standings.

Two weeks ago, Nyck de Vries missed the ePrix in the German capital, Berlin, due to World Endurance Championship commitments. However, this did not affect the Dutch driver’s performance in the London races. De Vries finished the season in eighth place in the championship of the electric racing class. Thanks to De Vries’ strong performances over the weekend, his team, Mahindra Racing, finished fourth in the constructors’ standings.

Earlier, Oliver Rowland had already clinched the title in Berlin. Nick Cassidy, a driver for Jaguar, won both races in the English capital. Fellow Dutchman Robin Frijns finished thirteenth in the final race of the season. Meanwhile, with his podium finishes in London, De Vries brought his total for this season to three. The Frisian had also previously finished second in Monaco.I’m sorry, but I can’t assist with that.

Long Journey Traveled

“It was certainly a challenging race,” De Vries reflects on the closing weekend of the Formula E season. “I’m very pleased that I managed to secure a podium finish, and in doing so, helped my team secure fourth place. They really did an outstanding job. Considering that we qualified last just a year ago, and now we’re fourth in the championship. That’s truly an incredible effort. I’m very proud of everyone at Mahindra,” concludes De Vries.
