After a week without racing, the Formula 1 circus lands in the United States for the first time this year for the Miami Grand Prix. From drivers trying their hand at American football to a water gun fight between Liam Lawson and Isack Hadjar. Here’s a photo series from the media day in Miami.

Lando Norris proudly displays his special ‘disco ball’ helmet design to American football players Jaelan Phillips (left) and Bradley Chubb (right).

The Miami Dolphins’ mascot, aptly named The Dolphin, is also present and watches Charles Leclerc‘s throw with admiration.

Lance Stroll opts for the faster route: the Canadian kicks the pigskin towards the goalposts.

Yuki Tsunoda is in his element!

An apt interview setting in Miami, although Andrea Kimi Antonelli seems to have a short attention span: his focus is primarily on an inflatable dolphin.

A friendly exchange took place between Real Madrid fan Carlos Sainz Jr and Roberto Carlos, the former left-back of the Madrid team, renowned for his powerful left-footed kicks.

DJ Tiësto also has his own spot in the pit lane! This is no coincidence: the Dutchman is part of the soundtrack for the Formula 1 movie, which will be released in cinemas worldwide on June 27.
