McLaren finally reveals the big day for their 2026 Formula 1 car! The reigning champions are gearing up to defend both titles with this new challenger. During the Bahrain test days, Zak Brown and Andrea Stella, along with drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, will unveil the new car for the first time. This is one of the last presentations leading up to the new season.

Mark your calendars for February 9! McLaren will officially unveil the car at the Bahrain International Circuit, just ahead of the first of two three-day tests in Bahrain. Aston Martin is also set to showcase their new car during these public test days, with the first images of the AMR26 expected on the same day. Both teams are keeping fans on the edge of their seats, revealing their cars later than others. Red Bull and Racing Bulls kick things off on January 15 with a joint presentation in Detroit.

McLaren enters the season as the reigning Constructors’ Champion. The papayas dominated in 2025, clinching the title early on. In a nail-biting finish, they also secured the Drivers’ Championship trophy; Lando Norris snatched his first world title during the final race in Abu Dhabi. Rival Max Verstappen had to settle for second place, just two points behind. Teammate Oscar Piastri was also in the championship hunt but finished thirteen points behind Norris.
