McLaren has once again claimed the championship! During the Singapore Grand Prix, the British racing team crowned an extremely dominant season with the constructors’ title. While the title was only decided last year in Abu Dhabi, McLaren embarked on a new and very convincing championship campaign in 2025. Although the drivers’ battle is far from over, with this tenth title, McLaren is now officially the team with the second most constructors’ championships.

Out of the eighteen Grand Prix races this season, McLaren won a whopping twelve. In addition, Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris together made twenty-eight podium finishes, earning 650 World Championship points. This performance has allowed the team to retain its constructors’ title. With six races still to go, McLaren has also matched the record for the earliest championship decision. In 2023, Red Bull secured the title with six Grand Prix races still remaining. McLaren could still break Red Bull’s points record of 860 points, also set in 2023, this year.

With the points victory in Singapore, McLaren became champion for the second time in a row. It is also the tenth title in the sixty-year history of the team. This achievement surpasses Williams‘ nine titles. Ferrari still leads the ranking with sixteen constructors’ championships.

  • Ferrari – 16 titles
  • McLaren – 10 titles
  • Williams – 9 titles
  • Mercedes – 8 titles
  • Lotus – 7 titles
  • Red Bull – 6 titles
  • Cooper – 2 titles
  • Brabham – 2 titles
  • Renault – 2 titles
  • Vanwall – 1 title
