Zak Brown, CEO of McLaren, is a man of traditions. When Daniel Ricciardo, then a McLaren driver, emerged as the winner of the Italian Grand Prix in 2021, the 52-year-old American had the word ‘Monza’ tattooed on his upper arm. Following Lando Norris’s victory in Miami, Brown had to do it again – this time, the American circuit was immortalized on his other shoulder.

Zak Brown was not exactly looking forward to getting a second tattoo. In a video from McLaren, he admits that he vividly remembers the pain. Once in the tattoo chair, the CEO had to grit his teeth. “Why Miami?” Brown asked aloud. “Why couldn’t it have been a simpler circuit?!”

Eventually, he seemed quite pleased with the result. The McLaren boss proudly rolled up his sleeve to show off his latest acquisition. Lando Norris, who was naturally present in the tattoo shop, could only laugh at his boss. With the current results, another victory for McLaren is not unthinkable. If Oscar Piastri ever crosses the finish line first, Zak Brown will surely find a spot for yet another new tattoo.
