Former Formula 1 driver Logan Sargeant has joined a new management company. The 24-year-old American raced in 36 Grand Prix for the Williams team, but was prematurely replaced by Franco Colapinto in 2024. Initially, Sargeant was set to participate in the European Le Mans Series this year, but withdrew before the start of the season. With his new management, he is now focusing on a return to racing.
From now on, Sargeant will be represented by Oliver Gavin, a five-time winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Just a year ago, he lost his seat at Williams, which had lost faith in the American talent after a season and a half. His time with the British racing team was marked by disappointing results and costly crashes. At Gavin’s company, OGMM, he will focus on opportunities in sports car racing and related racing classes. OGMM has an impressive client base, including IMSA race winner Colin Braun and WEC driver Ben Tuck.
Welcome to the Team
“We are delighted to welcome Logan Sargeant to the OGMM team,” the company wrote on social media. “At 24 years old and with a rich history in single-seaters, Logan is joining OGMM. He is focusing on a future career in sports car racing. Welcome to the team, Logan.”
Sargeant was actually set to drive an LMP2 car in the European Le Mans Series in 2025; in December of last year, he joined the Genesis-backed IDEC Sport team. At the time, it was thought that he could progress to Genesis’ future Hypercar team, which will participate in the World Endurance Championship from 2026. However, in February, Sargeant announced that he was stepping down from his role with the team. He was replaced by Spanish driver Daniel Juncadella.
