Formula 1 has found a new partner in the LEGO Group, one of the world’s largest toy manufacturers. The famous plastic bricks will be used from 2025 to bring Formula 1 even closer to its fans. In addition, LEGO will play a larger role in the fan zones during the various Grands Prix.
The LEGO Group already has close ties with McLaren and Mercedes; the company has produced several building sets in the form of the famous Formula 1 cars over the past few years. Lando Norris recently drove a lap around Silverstone in a McLaren supercar made from over 340,000 LEGO bricks. On Wednesday, the LEGO Group announced that from 2025, even more products inspired by the world of Formula 1 will appear in stores. The range will vary from simple sets for children to advanced scale models for adult fans.

“Through this collaboration, fans will be able to recreate and reshape the world of Formula 1 brick by brick,” says Emily Prazer, Commercial Director of the premier class. “The LEGO Group is proud of our history of recreating various Formula 1 cars,” adds Julia Goldin, LEGO’s Marketing Director. “This collaboration will bring the sport even closer to the fans.”
