Leclerc, who won the hearts of the tifosi with a victory at the iconic Autodromo Nazionale Monza in 2019, spoke candidly to Sky Sports about what it means to race as a Ferrari driver on home soil. “Being a Ferrari driver is the best thing there is,” Leclerc said, visibly impressed by the fans. “I never get used to this support. Every time we come back here, it’s incredible again.”
The Monegasque emphasized how special the moment on the podium is, with tens of thousands of ecstatic fans beneath him. “The emotion you feel when you’re up there, with all those people below… it’s beautiful.” For Ferrari, Monza is not just a race.
