The past F1 weekend in Mexico proved challenging for Racing Bulls, admits team boss Alan Permane. Liam Lawson had a strong qualification but ultimately finished thirteenth in the race, while Liam Lawson suffered wing damage in the first corner and had to prematurely end his race. It was a tough weekend for the team, both on the track and in the constructors’ championship.
However, Permane is already looking ahead to the remaining races. “We will put our heads together and work hard. We need to get everything in order for Brazil.” Both a sprint race and a Grand Prix are scheduled in São Paulo.
With a total of four more Grand Prix and two sprint races to go, the team is in sixth place in the constructors’ championship with 72 points. The difference with the competition is small: Aston Martin follows with 69 points, Haas with 62, and Sauber with 60.
