Aston Martin driver Lance Stroll had a significant crash during the second free practice at Zandvoort. The Canadian hit the barriers in turn three, ending his practice session immediately. The AMR25 of the driver is heavily damaged, especially on the right side, meaning the mechanics of the British team will undoubtedly be working overtime tonight.
The Canadian immediately reported over the team radio that he was okay. Although Lance Stroll is the first driver of the Dutch GP weekend to cause such a crash, he is not the only one to have gone off the track. In the first free practice, Andrea Kimi Antonelli and Max Verstappen had previously ended up in the gravel trap.
