Actor Keanu Reeves is set to host and produce a documentary series about the newest F1 team on the grid, Cadillac. The Canadian actor, known for his roles in The Matrix and John Wick, will narrate the story of the American racing team’s successful bid to become the eleventh team in Formula 1.
The documentary series will be produced by Reeves’ own production company, KR+SH, in collaboration with North One. This is not the first time the actor and motorsport fan has delved into the world of Formula 1. Reeves previously hosted the documentary Brawn: The Impossible Formula 1 Story about the former F1 team Brawn GP. The series is expected to be released before Cadillac’s debut at the 2026 Australian GP.
“I am deeply honored. I am also very excited to be part of telling the remarkable story of the Cadillac team and its incredible journey in the world of Formula 1,” Reeves said in the official press release. “Our goal with the documentary is to take the audience into the heart of this journey. To show what it takes to participate in one of the most exclusive sports arenas in the world.”
Driver Selection
Cadillac will make its debut as the eleventh team on the grid in 2026. It is still unclear who the drivers for the upcoming American F1 team will be. Valtteri Bottas, Sergio Pérez, Mick Schumacher, and Felipe Drugovich are among the potential candidates. “We are in talks with a number of drivers,” is all team boss Graeme Lowdon is willing to reveal about the future lineup.
