Jos Verstappen is set to participate in the renowned East African Safari Classic Rally in Kenya this December. This marks Verstappen’s first time competing in ‘The world’s toughest rally’. He will be driving a 1970s Porsche 911 for the event.
Over the past weekend, the father of four-time world champion Max Verstappen was present at the Dutch GP in Zandvoort. “I’m really looking forward to this. The car is currently being fully prepared for this rally,” Jos Verstappen shared in the Red Bull Racing hospitality suite.
Earlier this year, Verstappen participated in the Rally With No Name in Northern Sweden with the same red Porsche (photo above, credit: Verstappen.com). He secured a dominant victory in the snow, alongside his regular navigator Renaud Jamoul. Jamoul will also be joining him in Kenya. The rally will take place from December 5th to 13th.
The East African Safari Classic Rally is not only known for its challenging stages, but also for the stunning visuals it offers.
