Isack Hadjar, according to experts, is one of the major revelations of the current Formula 1 season. Expectations were relatively low initially. It was assumed that the Franco-Algerian driver, known for his temperament, would primarily cause a lot of damage. However, after nine races, he has proven the opposite. The question now is whether Hadjar will be allowed to advance to the main team, Red Bull, ahead of schedule. Racing Bulls CEO Peter Bayer certainly hopes not.

The 20-year-old Hadjar has already scored 21 points for Racing Bulls this season, placing him in an impressive ninth place in the drivers’ standings. For comparison, former teammate Yuki Tsunoda, who previously inherited the Red Bull seat from Liam Lawson, has so far only collected 10 points. After a disappointing start to the season – Hadjar crashed in Australia already in the formation round – the Parisian has demonstrated impressive speed and a mature driving style.

‘Don’t Take This Talent Away From Us’

Now that original teammate Yuki Tsunoda is struggling to adapt to Red Bull, whispers are circulating that Hadjar should be paired with Max Verstappen. Perhaps the rookie can find his footing faster at Red Bull, which has once again built a treacherous car with the RB21. After all, the Racing Bulls team serves as a training school, so when a driver excels, it’s logical that he gets a chance with ‘the big boys’. However, Racing Bulls wants to keep their young talent for as long as possible.”In an interview with the Swiss publication Blick, Racing Bulls CEO Peter Bayer was asked about the future of Isack Hadjar. Will we see him racing for Red Bull this year? “Please don’t take this talent away from us too soon,” Bayer directly addressed the main team. “By the end of 2026, he should have made his mark. Until then, we’ll just have to tie him down,” he joked.”
