The Dutch GP has come to an early end for Lewis Hamilton. The Ferrari driver crashed into the barriers in lap 23, forcing the seven-time world champion to prematurely end his Grand Prix. The incoming rain made the asphalt slippery, causing Hamilton to lose control of his car.
Lewis Hamilton started the Grand Prix in the dunes in seventh place, hoping to use his starting position to put pressure on the McLarens. However, it was not to be for Hamilton, whose race ended in lap 23 at the Hugenholtz corner. Although his SF-25 suffered significant damage, fortunately, the seven-time world champion was unharmed. After a brief safety car period, the race was restarted.
