The second free practice for the Monaco Grand Prix got off to a far from flawless start for Isack Hadjar and Oscar Piastri. Both drivers caused a crash, resulting in a red flag situation. Below is a video of the incidents.

Coming out of the tunnel towards the chicane, the Racing Bulls driver turned a bit too sharply and hit the wall with his left rear tire, a direct hit. The McLaren driver, on the other hand, missed his braking point at the first turn over the start-finish line, resulting in a broken front wing. In both cases, the red flag was waved, but since the Frenchman and Australian were able to return to the pits under their own power, it was quickly replaced by a yellow flag.
