Even though there is no race this weekend, Formula 1 fans won’t have to miss their favorite motorsport class too much. The annual event, Goodwood Festival of Speed, is taking place this weekend, and a large number of teams and drivers from the premier class are present in West Sussex, England.
From the tenth anniversary of Haas in Formula 1 to the return of Valtteri Bottas in a Mercedes and demonstrations of many historic Formula 1 cars, the Goodwood Festival of Speed has something for every Formula 1 fan this year.
Haas Team Celebrates Decade in Formula 1 at Goodwood
The Haas team made a grand appearance this year at Goodwood, marking their ten-year anniversary in Formula 1. Not only did drivers Oliver Bearman and Esteban Ocon participate, but team boss Ayao Komatsu and owner Gene Haas also took to the wheel.

Alpine Team’s Demonstration
The Alpine team also gave a demonstration in the A523 BWT from 2023 at Goodwood.
Valtteri Bottas’s First Drive in the Mercedes-AMG F1 W13 E
Valtteri Bottas drove the Mercedes-AMG F1 W13 E from 2022 for the first time on Saturday. The Finn had to make way for George Russell at the Silver Arrows at the end of 2021, but currently works there as a reserve driver.
Historic Formula 1 Cars and Modern Demonstrations at Goodwood
Historic Formula 1 cars were also a highlight at Goodwood. Adrian Newey, currently working with Aston Martin, gave a demonstration in the Lotus-Cosworth 49B.
Red Bull also participated on Saturday, with a demonstration of the RB7. Sebastian Vettel won his second world championship in this Red Bull car from 2011.
However, Red Bull didn’t just bring the RB7 to the festival in West Sussex. Fans also had the opportunity to view modern Red Bull cars.
