In a thrilling showdown, the Ferrari trio of Fuoco, Molina, and Nielsen clinched victory in the 24-hour Le Mans race, outpacing the Toyota team, which included Nyck de Vries.

Toyota’s Impressive Comeback

Despite starting the race in the last position, the Toyota team, with car number 7, managed to secure the second spot in the Hypercar class. An impressive comeback sparked thoughts of a potential victory, but it proved to be a step too far.

Performance in Other Classes

In the LMP2 class, Job van Uitert’s team was in contention for the win, but a victory remained elusive. However, debutant Morris Schuring did manage to secure a win in the LMGT3 class.

Disappointment for Other Dutch Participants

It was a disappointing race for other Dutch participants. Renger van der Zande and Robin Frijns, competing in the Hypercar class, had to withdraw from the 24-hour Le Mans race due to issues with their respective Cadillac and BMW vehicles. In the LMP2 class, Dutch racers Nicky Catsburg and Bent Viscaal failed to finish the race. The same fate befell Larry ten Voorde in the LMGT3 class.
