The team of Ayao Komatsu previously entered into a multi-year collaboration with Ferrari talent Oliver Bearman.

“According to well-placed sources close to Haas and Mercedes – who manage Ocon – the Frenchman has signed a contract with Haas,” say the British. “This means that Kevin Magnussen will leave the American team at the end of this season and will have to seek refuge with Alpine, Sauber, or Williams.” Haas driver Nico Hülkenberg previously signed a multi-year contract with Sauber.
