The votes are in! Thousands of Formula 1 fans cast their ballots for their favourite F1 photo in our special photo contest held in memory of Peter van Egmond. We’ve been blown away by the overwhelming response to the stunning images submitted by professional F1 photographers from around the world.
The public prize goes to Victor Eleuterio for his dramatic shot of Gabriel Bortoleto’s crash at Interlagos in Brazil. Out of the many thousands of votes, this image stood head and shoulders above the rest and captures exactly what the contest set out to celebrate: action, speed and raw emotion in Formula 1. The photographer receives a voucher worth €2500.
We also have a lucky winner from among the voters: Chris McGuigan from Canada will receive the Nikon Z50II camera valued at €1419. Congratulations!
Our thanks go to all the photographers for their entries, to the international expert jury led by Joe Saward for their judgement, and of course to the fans who voted. This contest was a fitting tribute to Peter van Egmond and to the craft of Formula 1 photography.
