Oliver Bearman has admitted to feeling a touch of envy over Isack Hadjar’s promotion from Racing Bulls to Red Bull Racing for the 2026 season. However, the young Brit is confident that his own opportunity in Formula 1 will come in due course.
Hadjar made a strong impression in his debut season with Racing Bulls, earning him a promotion to Red Bull, where he will become the new teammate of four-time world champion Max Verstappen. Regarding this, Bearman said, “Of course, I’m a bit jealous that he’ll likely be competing for victories and podiums with a team like Red Bull. But I’m sure my time will come.”
The Haas driver emphasized that he is also very happy for the Frenchman of Algerian descent. In a session with multiple media outlets, Bearman said, “I’ve been racing against Isack Hadjar since Formula 3, and he has shown an incredible amount of talent and speed. It’s great to see the new generation being recognized. Now we have both Kimi Antonelli and Hadjar at top teams, which is fantastic. I’m just waiting for my chance, but it will come one day.”
