Aston Martin has announced that their 2025 race car, the AMR25, will be unveiled on Sunday, February 23rd. The launch will take place a few days after the livery reveal on February 18th, during the F1 75 event at The O2 in London.
Digital Presentation and Initial Run in Bahrain
The launch of the AMR25 will be entirely digital, broadcasted through Aston Martin’s channels. On February 24th, the car will make its first laps during a promotional event at the Bahrain International Circuit. This serves as a prelude to the official test days, which will also be held in Bahrain from February 26th to 28th. Here, Aston Martin will be able to evaluate the performance of the new car under competitive conditions for the first time.
Unchanged Line-up
Just like in 2024, Aston Martin retains the same drivers. Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll will once again team up for their third season together. This makes the team one of the few on the grid to keep their line-up completely unchanged. Behind the scenes, Felipe Drugovich and Stoffel Vandoorne will continue to serve as test and reserve drivers.
