Andrea Kimi Antonelli finished in Q2 during the qualifying round for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The Mercedes driver came in fourteenth, just 0.046 seconds away from tenth place. “I don’t understand. I had no rear again,” the Italian said after the session.
Earlier today, the young Italian had an incident in the pit lane. He ended up in Yuki Tsunoda‘s path and hit the side of his Red Bull. The floor and sidepod of Tsunoda’s RB21 were damaged in the process. Antonelli’s W16 also suffered damage to the front wing.
