The Brazilian has been a reserve driver for Aston Martin since the end of 2022, and earlier this year, he was allowed to drive the first free practice for the Bahrain Grand Prix. Drugovich has already driven more than a thousand kilometers in a Formula 1 car during his time as a reserve driver, but he has never raced. Whether this will change this weekend remains to be seen.
