The 2025 calendar is final – we’ve known for a while where and on which weekends the races will take place, but on Monday, the FIA also announced the start times for the upcoming Formula 1 season. True racing fans have, of course, already circled the next twenty-four Grands Prix in red in their diaries, but now we also know what time we need to be in front of the TV.

The Formula 1 calendar for 2025 doesn’t differ much from the past season. No new races have been added; Formula 1 will visit the same locations as in 2024. However, the order has been partially changed. For instance, the season will kick off with the Australian Grand Prix at the Albert Park Circuit. This means that in the Netherlands, we’ll have to set our alarms for the first race of the year – the race starts at 05:00 in the morning, Dutch time.

GP Las Vegas

The most notable change is the start time of the Las Vegas Grand Prix. The racing spectacle in Nevada has been held at 22:00 local time on Saturday evenings for the past two years. In 2025, however, the start will be moved two hours earlier. More time for the winner to celebrate in the gambling capital? For Dutch viewers, it means that the race will begin at 05:00 on Sunday morning. So, it’s either setting the alarm again or just partying extra long on Saturday night.

The Dutch GP at Zandvoort will ‘simply’ start again at 15:00. For all start times of the Formula 1 season 2025, see the message below from the FIA. Please note that the times shown are local to the respective Grand Prix location.
