Ferrari has unveiled its new 2026 F1 car! On Friday the Scuderia pulled the covers off the SF-26, its challenger for the upcoming Formula 1 season. The team released images on social media, naturally presented in the iconic scarlet red. Not long after, drivers Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton completed their first laps at Fiorano, Ferrari’s own test circuit in Maranello.
The SF-26 carries white and black detailing, with the upper section of the livery dominated by a prominent white panel. The front and rear wings are — as on the cars of the 1990s — finished in black. The bright-blue logo of title sponsor HP appears again on the car’s rear. That sponsorship has been a sore point for Ferrari fans for several years, but it returns in 2026 as well.
Debut at Fiorano
With the SF-26 Ferrari hopes it has once more produced a competitive package. Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton struggled last year with the handling of its predecessor, the SF-25. The team recorded no victories and the British star — who made his debut in red — went an entire season without a single podium for the first time in his career. The new regulations may offer the Scuderia some relief.
For now expectations are high. The tifosi were already packed along Fiorano’s barriers in Maranello on Friday morning. After the reveal the SF-26 was immediately let loose for a first shakedown. Ferrari is permitted a limited number of kilometres to run the new car for the assembled public, who naturally hope to catch a glimpse of their favourite drivers.
