Nyck de Vries suffered a fruitless weekend in Mexico in Formula E. The Mahindra driver could do no better than P19 in qualifying and failed to finish the race.

The victory went to Nick Cassidy. The New Zealander delivered Citroën its first win in Formula E. It was only the marque’s second ever race in the electric series.

Behind Cassidy, De Vries’ team-mate Edoardo Mortara finished second, ahead of reigning champion Oliver Rowland. The third Formula E round of the season takes place later this month — the streets of Miami play host on 31 January.
