The final edition of the Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort is set to take place in 2026. After the historic circuit returned to the Formula 1 calendar in 2021, the curtain will fall next year with a sprint weekend. Many fans, of course, want to witness this promising finale. As a result, tickets for the Dutch GP are selling like hotcakes. The organization speaks of ‘overwhelming interest’.
On Thursday, the management of the Dutch GP announced that tickets for the weekend are already sold out, with the exception of a limited number of hospitality tickets. Interested parties can still sign up for a waiting list, in case more tickets become available. Next year, ticket sales for Friday, when the only free practice and the sprint qualification are scheduled, will begin.
“We are rounding off six incredible years with a weekend that will be a milestone both sportingly and emotionally,” responded sports director Jan Lammers. “For the first time, we will also organize a sprint race. It will be a beautiful conclusion to a unique chapter in Dutch sports history.” Director Robert van Overdijk is also enthusiastic: “It will be an unforgettable final edition of a unique event in Dutch sports history, especially with a sprint race, the completely new cars, and with Cadillac as the eleventh team on the grid.”
