Following the summer break, Formula 1 kicks off the second half of the season today with the first two free practice sessions for the Dutch GP in Zandvoort. Only three teams have decided to make modifications to their cars for the Netherlands GP. One of these teams is Red Bull Racing, home to Max Verstappen.

Red Bull Racing is introducing a modified front wing. The Austrian team has opted for longer flap elements at the front, intended to increase the available downforce. According to FIA documentation, these adjustments should contribute to higher loads at greater angles of attack, which aligns with the specific characteristics of the Zandvoort circuit, such as the banked turns.

In addition to Red Bull, both Alpine and Stake F1/Sauber have brought updates. The French team is introducing new brake cooling elements at the rear, while Stake F1/Sauber has altered the design of the rear brake wing guides to optimize airflow around the back of the car. The remaining seven teams will start in Zandvoort without any technical changes.
