After a break since the Silverstone race, Williams is gearing up for the Belgian Grand Prix at the iconic Spa-Francorchamps circuit. With new updates to the car, Carlos Sainz and Alex Albon are heading to the penultimate race weekend before the summer break with optimism.
Carlos Sainz is looking forward to the race on the Belgian asphalt: “Spa is one of the most beautiful circuits on the calendar. The sprint format means we’re in for a busy weekend, but that could also create opportunities. We’re bringing a number of updates and I’m curious to see how they perform on such a demanding track.”
“We’ve shown in the past that we can be strong here, so I’m looking forward to racing again,” adds teammate Albon. “The short break has helped us to reset and thoroughly analyze all the data from the past races. With the upgrades we’re bringing now, we want to end the first part of the season on a positive note.”
