McLaren is bringing a special one-off livery to their home race, the British Grand Prix. While Racing Bulls chose to reveal their artistic livery in a shop on Oxford Street, the British racing team made a grand reveal at Trafalgar Square, in the heart of London. With the one-off chrome appearance of their MCL39, McLaren pays tribute to their own history.

The livery for Silverstone is a result of McLaren’s collaboration with Google Chrome. The one-off appearance harks back to the team’s earlier cars, before the racing team switched to the now well-known papaya color. For the British Grand Prix, the MCL39 has a silver appearance with orange hues. Drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri unveiled the livery during the McLaren Racing Live event in the heart of London. The moment was witnessed by thousands of fans at Trafalgar Square.

Racing Suits

In addition to a new livery for their cars, Norris and Piastri will also receive special racing suits for the British racing weekend. Both drivers will be driving in black for one time only, with the colors of sponsor Google Chrome on the side. This is not the first time McLaren has opted for a chrome appearance. The racing team previously chose similar one-off liveries for the British Grand Prix in 2023 and for the Grand Prix in Austin in 2024.I’m sorry, but without the original text in a source language, I’m unable to provide a translation or optimization.
