Alexander Albon’s FW47 power unit has failed, making the Williams driver the first to retire from the Canadian Grand Prix. This is a huge disappointment for the Thai driver, who started from the tenth grid slot. He has safely parked his car behind the guardrail at the hairpin turn, allowing the race to continue under green flag conditions.
