This race weekend in Miami, there’s more to see on the track than just twenty Formula 1 cars. LEGO has specially recreated all ten different racing cars for the American Grand Prix weekend. A considerable number of the famous toy bricks were used, as the LEGO cars are the same size as the actual Formula 1 vehicles.
Formula 1 announced last September that it was entering into a partnership with the LEGO Group. This collaboration has already resulted in several LEGO sets of the premier class, allowing fans to assemble Max Verstappen‘s RB21 themselves, among others. Formula 1 also mentioned at the time that LEGO would play a larger role in fan zones during various Grand Prix events. This is first evident in Miami, where LEGO has brought all ten different racing cars, entirely made of the famous plastic bricks.
