Will we see new liveries at the upcoming Miami GP? While Formula 1 teams usually seize every opportunity to give their cars a new color scheme, we have seen few surprising designs this year. Red Bull dressed the RB21 in white for the Japan GP, but beyond that, few remarkable makeovers were unveiled. In Miami, this seems to be changing; both Ferrari and Mercedes are teasing a new livery.

Ferrari had previously posted a cryptic message on their social media channels. “Miami, mark this date in your calendar,” the team announced. “We want to show you something special on April 30th.” On Monday, Ferrari revealed that the team will be bringing white outfits to the first Grand Prix on American soil. While Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc are already posing in white team shirts, it remains to be seen whether the SF-25 will also get a white look.

Mercedes in Pink?

At Mercedes, they also seem to be taking a different approach – the Silver Arrows are threatening to become the Pink Arrows in Florida. On social media, the team already unveiled pink team shirts for the upcoming GP, and all team logos have been given a pink hue.

Whether special liveries will indeed be unveiled in Miami remains to be seen. In 2024, there were makeovers here and there. Ferrari opted for red with a few baby blue details at the time. Fans might have hoped for more, but for the Scuderia, it is of course not done to say goodbye to the trusted red. Title sponsor HP, which has been using a bright blue logo for years, must undoubtedly have been satisfied.
