Jos Verstappen has hinted at his disagreement with Red Bull’s decision to sideline Liam Lawson after just two races, according to a comment on Instagram. The New Zealander will be replaced by Japanese driver Yuki Tsunoda after two F1 races, with Lawson returning to the Racing Bulls training team.

“I really hope you’re going to do great. He deserves to be in Formula 1,” Verstappen wrote under Racing Bulls’ announcement.

Red Bull has faced significant criticism for its ruthless decision to sacrifice Lawson after just two races. Among the critics is Giedo van der Garde, whose message received approval from Max Verstappen and other F1 drivers.”
