The Formula 1 season is about to kick off with the onset of testing days in Bahrain. This week, drivers will have their first opportunity to take the 2025 cars for a spin at the Bahrain International Circuit. The first teams have officially announced when their drivers will be seen on the Middle Eastern circuit.

Fans of the Dutch world champion won’t have to wait long, as Max Verstappen will be in action in Bahrain on the morning of Wednesday, February 26. In the afternoon, it will be the turn of his new teammate Liam Lawson to take a seat in the RB21. On Thursday, Verstappen will spend the entire day behind the wheel of the latest Red Bull car in Bahrain, while Friday is reserved for Lawson.

Haas and Alpine are sending their drivers onto the track for three half-days. Wednesday morning is Oliver Bearman’s turn, while Esteban Ocon takes the wheel in the afternoon. Friday follows the same schedule for Haas, while the roles are reversed on Thursday, with Ocon opening the day. Jack Doohan will test the Alpine on Wednesday morning, Thursday afternoon, and Friday morning, while Pierre Gasly takes the remaining slots: Wednesday afternoon, Thursday morning, and Friday afternoon.

Filming Day

Before the testing days in Bahrain for Verstappen and Lawson begin, both Red Bull drivers have already clocked some kilometers in the 2025 challenger. Red Bull has a filming day scheduled for Tuesday, February 25, at the same circuit. During this day, a total distance of two hundred kilometers can be driven in the RB21.

Of course, the testing days can also be followed by fans via the official Formula 1 broadcasting channels. Just like previous years, the tests will take place between eight o’clock in the morning and five o’clock in the afternoon Dutch time.
