The highly anticipated documentary series on Ayrton Senna, the three-time F1 world champion, will be available on Netflix from November 29, marking thirty years since his tragic demise on the race track on May 1, 1994, at Imola.

The release date for the series on Ayrton Senna is now set. It will be available on Netflix from November 29. Titled “Senna,” this documentary series will consist of six episodes featuring Gabriel Leone, who will portray Senna, along with Alice Wegmann, Matt Mela, and Christian Malheiros.

Behind the Scenes of the Documentary Series

Produced in Brazil by Netflix, this documentary series will “unveil the personality and private life of the three-time F1 world champion, showcasing the trajectory of his triumphs, disappointments, joy, and sorrow. The series begins at the dawn of Ayrton’s career when he leaves for the UK to compete in his first Formula Ford race, and ends with the tragic accident at Imola in Italy, during the San Marino Grand Prix in 1994”, as stated by the streaming platform.
