Health Crisis for Sergio Pérez’s Father Following Son’s Crash at Azerbaijan Grand Prix

Antonio Pérez Garibay, father of Sergio Pérez, was rushed to the hospital on Sunday. The collision between his son and Carlos Sainz during the Azerbaijan Grand Prix proved too much for him. The 65-year-old Mexican suffered a pre-infarction as a result of the crash. Reports suggest that Pérez senior is now recovering well.

Sergio Pérez’s father, like all other Formula 1 fans, was glued to the television for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix on Sunday. Checo, who had already gained one place during the race, was fighting for a podium spot in the final stages. However, disaster struck after a battle with Charles Leclerc for second place. Pérez made contact with Carlos Sainz, causing both drivers to crash into the wall.

Health Scare for Sergio Pérez’s Father

Antonio Pérez Garibay, the father of Formula 1 driver Sergio Pérez, reportedly suffered a health scare recently. The 65-year-old former politician was found unconscious in his bathroom and quickly rushed to a hospital in Mexico City. Upon arrival, it was determined that he had experienced a pre-infarct. According to authorities, the incident occurred immediately after his son’s crash.

Antonio Pérez Garibay is now said to be recovering well.
